Hello, and welcome to my computer class. My name is Jamie Woods and I am the technology teacher at Hamlin Middle School. I currently teach 7th Grade Keyboarding and 8th Grade Computer Applications. The goals I have for my students are to leave my computer room everyday with more knowledge than they came in with. The main goals are to learn how to type correctly, and that includes posture as well as using home row keys.

This is a very useful skill and I try to stress to the students that they will use this for the rest of their lives. By the time my students leave my class they should know how to perform most business type tasks. They learn how to do personal and business letters, memos, and reports. I want my students to have the foundation to be able to work in the real world.
